Bit disappointed that neither Ah Van or the other Widnes winger who couldn't catch a cold last week are in their squad. Both would have been great assets to Leeds.

Owens is back in for Widnes and its likely either Marsh or Dean will cover the other wing, No Kevin Brown is a big loss but better to be safe than sorry after concussion.

Unless any injuries/illness occurs between now and Friday, it will be the same starting line up as the KR game.

Nobody learns anything by being moved around from week to week and BMac will want the players to learn from last weeks schoolboy mistakes, IMO.

Paul Hudson doesn't do the morning slots - they obviously have decided he is 'primo' weather forecaster so he gets the prime 18.30 / 22.25 slots usually. Which is good, as I don't usually watch them and am not a fan of his.

It was Kay Crewdson this morning - she tends to be second fiddle to Lisa Gallagher, or if we are very lucky - Keeley Donovan does it, or Claire Nasir.

So back on topic - I hope it is dry because last season we didn't seem to realise when it was wet and failed to adjust our handling / passing accordingly. I don't massively trust our ability to play in the rain.

A simple 'no it wasn't him' would have been fine. Really it would!

I thought we had become known as the wet weather masters after the 2008/9/11 GF wins which were all won well in awful weather iirc.
