Nothing to do with the coach McGuire was set and Burrow just passed it to the wrong player. JP's good but h's no Danny Ward.

He was excellent 2nd half. Bailey and JJB played well too. However, Achurch was poor again in a high intensity game. He's one of the laziest maker defenders I've ever seen.

Amazing blunder by Burrow......but pales into insignificance next to you-know-who.
Maybe just maybe the indispensable triumvirate is begining to crumble
Agree about JJB.....good to see him back on that performance.
Ablett though is increasingly becoming the new cornerstone (and first name on the teamsheet) of the future pack

| Regarding the drop goal attempt. Whilst not the best from Burrow I wasn't too keen on the positioning of McGuire as it made a pass back to him trickier than it needed to be if he was instead several steps to the left.

| McGuire played well. I think some already decide who their scapegoat is going to before the game has even started.

His drop on Carney was singly good. Carney didn't like it.

The injury to Achurch has seemingly ground his form to a halt. Hopefully he'll re-group quickly.
(he only got small minutes in his stint)

Yep, I also think he should play out wide in the back row, he's never a prop and he struggles to adjust to the pace of games making him a terrible defender around the ruck.

So what is it that you expect from your Scrum Half? Spend their time tackling? Far too much is being made of one glaring miss. Danny was influential in two tries and made the great kick for Briscoe's try. His attacking kicks in general play are good and his direction of the attacking and defensive formation occupy a good deal of his time and free up Kevin for a more defensive tackling role when Rob is at Hooker.
I thought Danny had a good game all round. We drew against a very good Cas team performance and, woops, went top.
