| Many reason why I'll be shocked if Ryan Brierley hasn't signed for Leeds.

It's not put us under pressure all season at all. It's not like we constantly use it again and again on the last tackle now is it.
And it is a good tactic actually on paper. For a team who are lacking imagination in attack when we get down to the final 20m it's a rare bit of something different, a plan B instead of just saying "there you go Kev, you kick it again". That was predictable and didn't help Sinfield or the team to be so one dimensional on the last.
You also have to look at the bigger picture, will it let us down at times, yes.....but will we benefit later from it by teams knowing they can't just go after Sinfield on the 5th because we've shown we'll try this, yes also.
Has the execution of it always been great, no....but no tactic ever succeeds all the time. Moon has put in some pretty decent kicks, Watkins not quite as good at times......
......But was anybody complaining about this tactic when we played Wigan at Headingley and Hall scored early in he 2nd half, that try came from shifting it along to Watkins on the 5th on our own 40m and him putting in the kick and chasing hard to catch it.

Didn't he put in the very good kick for Hall's try - try assist?

Up to this season I think he has flattered to deceive but he has been outstanding the times I have seen him. High in the try scoring & try assist charts; you can't ask for much more from a stand off. Tackles well also, doesn't miss many.

| Some on here are complaining about McGuire and his lack of leadership and control of the game.
I would agree that Friday was far from his best - something the likes of which we will never see again.
When the whole structure requires Sinfield controlling - quite correctly - on the pitch to expect anyone else to take this role even on a temporary basis is asking a lot. The same would apply if you asked Sinfield to support play in the way McGuire does. Its horses for courses.

I'm sure he would be a good 6 but for me he's too good and important to the team in his current position to be considered for a move.

No, he could easily do it. The problem is though, and what is more important, is that you could find quite a few stand offs who would be the equal or better than him. However, you would struggle to be able to recruit or develop a better fullback than him.

| I hear a lot of people talk about Hardaker moving to stand off but I personally have never really shared the opinion. He's a full back, despite him being a superb defender and runner from the FB position, he still hasn't got the handling skills to play in the halves on a regular basis. Full back is arguably the most important position in the game and in Hardaker we have one of the best so why move him and put him in a position he'll probably be less effective, and replace him at FB with someone with less ability or potential?
