Would be a bad option. McGuire would be more suitable for us to go, also Cas might not keep Sneyd.

| Would love Clarke but cannot see it happening as why sign Aiton at the end of last season?
With regards to Cuthbertson, lets hope that Buderus hasn't recommended him to us as we all know how his last recommendation worked out
Also last season, his first at the Knights, Cuthbertson missed a lot of matches with recurring groin problems

| Apparently Canberra Raiders are interested in Hardaker.
With a player of his quality, along with Hall and Watkins, I think we'll struggle to keep all three.

Hardaker has had contact from 11 clubs in Australia. All that contact though was last year when he was discussing his new conract with Leeds, that then fell apart.

| I cant see us getting Clarke but would happily welcome him IF by a minor miracle he signed for us.
I think we will see many Clubs getting linked with Hardaker & Watkins the Challenge for GH is trying to keep em both an das I've said before I'd happily sacrifice 2/3 1st teamers to raise extra money for both of them to have improved deals.

| Funnily enough with Canberra, I have said for a couple of years that Hardaker reminds me a lot of the Dugan and they definitely need a full back net season. I think Hardaker would go much better than Tomkins over here at FB too.

| I too have heard from a Cas source that Clark's move to the Wolves is off & that two Leeds players are on their way to Cas.
I hope that the two rumours are correct & are related ie that Clark is coming to Leeds.
McGuire & Bailey to Cas would be good for both clubs & although I'd be sad to see McGuire go, a time comes when change is necessary.

You'd have to hope that with BJB leaving that we manage to keep hold of the other threequarters

| If sacrificing McGuire is what it takes to get one of the leagues brightest prospects then I'm afraid it will have to be. McGuire was a damn fine player in his peak, but that was many years ago. He still adds to the team but not as much as we need

| Can see McGuire going tbh.
Clark & Aiton would need to both start, so Burrow reverts to SH. You've also got young Sutcliffe as well competing for space in the halves.
Add to that that McGuire is more injury-prone (until this year) than both Sinfield & Burrow, and that he doesn't bring what either of them do (Kev's kicking & passing game, Burrow's support play & speed around the ruck) it'd be worthwhile moving him on.

If you believe what another poster has just started a new thread about Danny's going to Halifax

Along with Burrow being able to play hooker if we an injury there with Sutcliffe then starting in the halves.
* a season long loan for Robbie Ward next year would be ideal too if we can find the right club for him to go to.

| I still think McGuire has a lot to offer Leeds, and has looked pretty good in games I've seen this season, albeit without grabbing the headlines. I'd like to think McGuire would end his playing career at Leeds, with Sutcliffe to come in whenever the decision is made.
That said, the golden generation can't soldier on forever. I would have said there are other more obvious survivors from the 2004 team to be shipped out first though - Ryan Bailey and JJB in particular. Of the spine of the team McGuire is probably the easiest to replace with the personnel already in place at the club.
