Think the problem with the spear tackle was the two others in the tackle adding weight. Hall wasn't lowered to the floor he was banged in. If the mistake was made lifting legs and they controlled hall to the ground I could understand the refs comments but this wasn't the case |

A spear tackle is when someone lands on their head. Hall didn't, it was his back.
And as for people saying McIlorums was a swinging arm, no it wasn't. Just watch the replays. |

I just think leeds went into that game in exhibition mode.compare that to wigan who played with the intensity of a grand final.you could during the halftime in the hull game all the players were walking round the pitch an hour before our game waving and taking pictures.I would wager at that time the ape was in the wigan changing room giving his war cry.
its an attitude thing which stems from the mentality going in.its very hard to switch it on mid game and of course we never did match wigan in the intensity stakes. |

Losing to NZ in the dying seconds at Wembley brought me to tears, losing to a load of thugs in a mid-season exhibition match doesn't even come close.

I'm sorry, but I think punching & spear tackles are red card offences. You know what pal? So does the rule book.
