Interesting. It'd be great to see him in SL, but maybe not in those circumstances.
Didn't the league make that more difficult after Johns' little jaunt to Cheshire?

| The reality of this appeal is it only ever likely to see Bradford given 2 points back and as such, making the punishment a 4 point deduction as opposed to 6. Anything other than that is likely to see the RFL placed it a very precarious legal position & independent panel or not, I am sure that will be made clear to the panel by the RFL.

That's from earlier this week, for one of them

| They shouldn't get any back.
They've done wrong, again and should be punished.
Granted it's quite sad what is going on at Odsal but unfortunately if you don't pay overdue bills and go into Admin this is what happens.
Rules are rules and are there for a reason.

| I wouldn't shed a tear if either Bradford or Wakie left SL, simply because I have never read or heard one of their fans, from either sets of supporters, give us credit, or show support for another Yorkshire team on our many Grand Final appearances over the years.
Karma can be a bitch.

| After what today's score is looking like, I would say even with all the points back, they still won't finish above Wakey now. Not with the points difference as well they would have to make up.

| I expect Wakey to be able to pick up at least 3 more wins from their remaining 15 games at least. That would leave Bradford needing 7 wins from 15 just to draw level (which even then might not be enough due to points difference which is quite in Wakey's favour).
Just can't see it, the only small question in the relegation issue is will London manage to pick up a win? Credit to them they've shown a bit of fight this year and scared Hudds, Wire and Wigan, I think they'll eventually get a win on the board.

Here's hoping. Would be hilarious if they did go down. Their fan base was always so success orientated, I still remember the ''show us yer trophies'' banner they had at headingly in 2004, what's happened to them was an inevitable consequence of such a shallow mindset.
And don't anyone take the moral high ground with all this ''super league needs a strong bradford, blah blah blah''.
Super league could use a strong everything. But sport is cyclical, they'll always be good teams and bad teams. Bradford are now one of the sh*T teams and have been replaced at the top by now stronger clubs.
Cheers Iestyn

| The Bulls total collapse today against the Saints indicates to me that the players there have realised that due to Wakefield Wildcats 2 most recent and unexpected victories at Hull FC and Widnes have probably condemned them to relegation
I hope that they don't get any points back at all in their appeal as IMO they clearly don't deserve to,but i can foresee that the deduction will be ammended to a 4 point deduction
The Bulls must be the worst run club ever during the SL era and Chris Caisley must take the brunt of the blame without a doubt for his inept dealings whilst he was in charge there

The Bulls mirror everything about the Ridsdale era at Leeds United.
They lived the dream, became the best, and all at a massive cost.

Not everything from the risdale era. We never became the best. Still remember rio scoring for us just infront of us against deportivo la coruna. Good times.
Back to the wilko barmy army days for when Leeds were last the best. That was a good day as well

| Wakefield have played 4 home games and 8 away games to date.
Bradford have played 7 home games and 5 away games to date.
That hill which Bradford needs to climb has already turned into a mountain.

The mountain is called K2.
To find at least 5 more wins (from 15 left) than the current nearest placed side, sounds realistically unachievable.

It's not likely to happen but why would it be nice?
A traditional RL heartland club with an ambition to rival the likes of Huddersfield, Leeds, St Helens, Warrington and Wigan. More competition is what we need if we are to succeed going forward.
They are still a relatively new team (and now have a new coach at the helm) but come the season end I think we'll see a competitive team capable of upsetting a team or two and one I'd still be backing to make the play-offs at this stage.
