icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

| Quote: Baconbutty "Why wouldn't they have to pay anything? Being in administration doesn't make it a free for all. Administrators sell assets to pay off debts, wouldn't be much good if they gave stuff away for free.'"
Administrators sell off assets to ensure they get paid - there will no dividend for creditors here.
They also need to get costs back under control - if Scrutton is one of the higher earners then it makes sense to let him go. In a fire sale you are hardly in a strong bargaining position re. value of assets.

| If we were after any one the Bulls lot, it'd be Managa-alphabetispaghetti-oa instead of Scruton for me. He always seems to have an impact and dent the line.
I also like Donaldson - he's very raw, but has potential to be a good running back rower.

| There was an enquiry over Carvell but his demands albeit not ridiculously high put Leeds off . As for Scruton he could do a job for a season as back up IMO. Not sure we need any more back rowers but yes Dan Smith would be a good acquisition.

Would be a solid signing for us - a better backup prop than Kirke.

When do we get ours then for picking up Powell, Fleary and Farrell for peanuts if anything?
The Bulls don't deserve the idiots that have run them like Stevie Wonder at a kids Go Kart centre.

| massive difference. the bulls targeted keighley and halifax, stole ideas such as cougermania, stile key staff and flooded schools with thousands of free tickets.
when keighley went t1ts up we then bought players yes, but we didn't go out to put them in that position. the bulls did. thats the difference

Yep you are right, we picked the bones of a dying carcass, the same that is happening now with the Bulls.
And you think they deserve this for giving free tickets to schools and stealing commercially positive ideas?
Hang them, then burn them!!

What the bulls did to keighley was shameful and i hope the club rots.

| Not sure what people see in Scruton.
Props at his level are a penny a time in SL. Plus he's made of glass.
Few people with rose tinted glasses from his time at Leeds.

I agree, 10x better than the lump Bailey who can be shipped to Odslum as part of the deal. Win, win!

Much rather give Dan Smith a go than a has-been like Scrutton. He reminds me of Keith Mason over-hyped and has never developed into the real deal.'"
i agree with your comment about dan smith sal as he should have been retained without a doubt as he has plenty of potential to make it in sl,he's also a cracking lad too
but regarding your comment that scruton is finished at the elite level of sl, i must beg to differ
in a 1-2-3 order between current first team squad regulars bailey and kirke, where would you position scruton for the 2015 season and which players would you rather have in our squad?
i would have scruton at 1,bailey at 2 and kirke at 3
scruton is far and away a better player than either of those 2 without a doubt is he not?

From what I've seen of of Smith so far this season Leeeds would have been better keeping him over all three of the aforementioned; he looks a good 'un.

Nearly twenty years layer and there are people who still think it's possible to steal the first page of marketing 101 from a rugby league club, particularly when the guy you've employed to do it learnt his trade in the sedate and understated world of college football in the US. It's beyond idiotic.
