Bailey for Kirke from last weeks squad for mine.

How many minutes was he on for?

Hmmm i thought he played his part during and in the aftermath of the match will be interesting who if anyone drops out for Bailey then i suspect it will be Achurch but seeing those stats and considering Achurch's cameo i would drop Kirke IF any changes are made at all.

But Achurch has filled the '10 minute cameo' at the end of matches, so can see Mac selecting Bails over Achurch to give more options and legs on the bench.'"
There is a good case for retaining the Wigan 17. However there is also a case (although he doesn't deserve it) for giving Bailey some much needed game time as he needs to be much more match fit to be considered for the knock out stages. However if Bailey is to play it should be in place of Kirk who could do with a rest after playing all but one game so far this season. Achurch equally needs game time and as he proved in his first game back offers more impact than Clarkson, Kirke or Bailey so should retain his bench spot.

If Wigan win tonight and we lose to Wolves then we will play Saints if they beat Hull KR

| Does anyone else think that should Wigan win tonight that it will make us even more determined to beat the Wolves on Saturday and progress to the qualifying semi's and thus avoid playing a semi final eliminator against the Saints the week after?
If the Giants win tonight then our result on Saturday isn't as crucial IMO as we would play Catalans or Hull FC at home, with no disrespect intended to those clubs surely we would fancy our chances more in either of those games would we not?

| Quote: William Eve "I'm prepared to give Huddersfield more credit than they've received for finishing 1st, therefore I expect them to beat Wigan tonight. Should they not beat Wigan, then it's further proof that some of the clubs immediately below them... Wigan in particular in recent months... have been taking it easy to such a degree they've been extracting the regular season urine all along.
Point taken about the risk associated with the possibility of having to play 5th placed Saints at home next week but I'd expect it to be either the Hull or Catalan rabble instead.'"
SL rabble at its best tonight.another nail in the coffin of this gash system.but it does put more value on a win in saturdays game.

Just emphasises the degree of -taking that's gone on during the regular season by Warrington, Leeds and Wigan.
I'm pleased Wigan have won because it renders a degree of meaningfulness to the Warrington/Leeds game on Saturday.
I think Warrington and Leeds would prefer to avoid Saints at home next week.

I trust the cat is doing well?
As far as I can work out, the only team you cannot play next week should you lose is Hull KR. You would have the highest placed of St Helens/Hull FC/Catalans.
