| 2003 semi final conversion is up there, as are his Grand Final performances.
If I had to pick a single moment, it would be after his conversion of Danny Mags' try in the 2004 GF. The camera goes for a close up on him as runs back to await the kick off, and you can just see a hint of a smile on his face. He knew we'd done it.

Quality cartwheel, however Tansey was not offside, he was quite clearly in a onside position!

| It has to be the semi final in 2003, his kicking was just amazing, I will never forget how he slotted the last minute kick to draw us level. Mind you the drop goal against wigan in 2012 play off semi, or the pen in the last minute against Warrington the year before. There are are so many, I will not be till after he has retired will we really realise how good a player Sir Kev is, on a par with anybody who has worn blue and amber

Yup.
We were in-line right behind him taking that kick.
Cool? ... he was glacial.

There's really no place for the likes of you on Substandard. [/quote:1x8x7ghm]:7098.jpg |

| In a career that has displayed both the longevity and consistency that Kevin's has it is hard to identify one or two individual moments. His career as a whole will go down in history as one of, if not the, finest in Leeds' existence.
It's hard to look past that kick in 2003 as a moment which made him a hero in many Leeds fans eyes. People forget that he wasn't too highly regarded amongst all our fans until probably 2005, his best season IMO in Leeds colours.
The Grand Final speeches have been memorable, although by far the best performance I have seen from him in a Leeds shirt was the Wigan play off game last year. He was absolutely outstanding and without him there is no way we win that game.
It will be an incredibly sad day when the great man decides to hang them up.

It was sweet to see him do wigan last year and lets not forget the CC semifinal when he bombed young Sam.Reading his recent statement about his future he is hoping to play on for a while yet

| For me it has to be his refusal to take the 2 in the challenge cup final at Cardiff in 2003 to tie the scores
Instead your team went for glory and we held on to win the cup
That is my favourite Kevin Sinfield moment of all time

This, in total agreement with. I don't think I will see a better player for my club, or at least influential, in my lifetime.
I don't agree that he should have an open ended contract now, and really hope he uses his head, and goes out at the right time, to ensure that the legend status he has is not forgotten.

That's one of my favourite Sinfield moments too.
It gave him the drive and determination to so thoroughly dominate your team and the league for the next 10 years.

982.jpg [quote:1pqtnbtj]Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.[/quote:1pqtnbtj]

Ten years ago that. How time flies. Been a fantastic ten years since hasn't it?
Well, it has for Kev and the Rhinos.
Plenty of Championships won since then, no salary cap breaches and no financial meltdowns.
Happy days.
