Watson cannot move freely between Hunslet and Leeds. Dual registration only permits SL players to play for Championship/Championship One clubs, not vice versa.

He is not on dual registration.

The only way he could play for Leeds would be if Hunslet allowed him to go to Leeds on loan at some point in the future.

Given that he's been a regular fixture in their side when fit, I can't see them letting him go out on loan anywhere.

So explain how he is still effectively a Leeds player?

Its all Just a case of crossed wires with Phil Smith I think.

Regardless what Gary Hetherington says or does over the next 18 months, he won't be calling Watson to come into the team. BM will just move everyone around to avoid it and even consider Ablett at FB first.

This 'keeping an eye on him' was just lip service - If they wanted him they would have kept him and dual reg'd him........Oh! or is this the same thing?
