| Tell you what - why dont we use B Macs rotation policy and use the same 19 we always do - maybe call Singleton up and never use him too. That would work.

| Quote: Andy Gilder "If you want an injury crisis in the forwards, take a look at Wigan at the minute.'"
Not just in the forwards either as according to some site clairvoyants Smith and Green would prove to be significant downgrades from the departing Leuluai and Finch?
Wigan appear to be coping quite well by placing trust in their production line and having a coaching philosophy that is consistently adhered to throughout the grades that appears to allow players to move with ease within.
Quote: Andy Gilder "Leeds aren't facing anything like that amount of problems up front, even with one senior prop out on loan.'"
And yet it's likely to cause Leeds difficulties .... if true, why would that be?

| We do have a GF-winning prop on loan and apparently on form at another SL club, should we want him to actually play for us.

As for forwards available, we will be OK. We only need 1 prop. It's a new innovation from McDermott apparantly.'"
Being very generous to the RLfans posters with your first statement Gareth! I never said it was genius or innovative just playing with some game sense, who got the offload away to JJB setting up field position for Mcshanes try? As I asked earlier on another thread, if the RFL said teams could have 5 or 6 subs should we use all those too?

| Another thing that I'm not sure has been noted is Leeds having 2 weeks off due to the wakey game being postponed so the Leeds forwards had less time on the field in the last fortnight than they should have had.

| We are only light 2 props and one SR we should have plenty of strength in depth. The part that bothers me is the timing of griffin going. If we didn't fancy him, why didn't we get rid earlier and recruit or trust our youth players

Maybe so..... but the point remains. Nobody is infallible (not even me )
McDermott deserves respect: of course he does.....BUT he has faults. Surely even you (if not that Spanish fella forum contributer whose name I have temporarily forgotten ) can admit that??

I dare say he does, but those that seem to believe theres systemic issues, even given the results I feel are far wide of the mark. Leeds have 2 games in hand, Wakey and Widnes, both winable and would take Leeds joint top yet still people aren't happy.
Re the issue you had with Watkins at FB, maybe BM doesn't want to play Watson, (whos played something like 5 games against grown men) in a key position whilst also meaning he'd have to play Vickery and the inexperienced lad together.
Put it this way I can't ever see a coach at a SL side, be it scholarship, 19s or first team reading RLfans and saying "yeah good point, i'll try that!"

That would be pretty close-minded then...... never a good trait.
Why does he have to play Vickery?

| Regarding the above I personally think that SO FAR this season has been an improvement. The defence appears
To have improved no end.
And yes we are not that far off the top I personally don't have a problem with Watkins at full back, but again personally would prefer to see another option on the wing instead of vickery.

Or deluded for a 'fan' of the game on a message board to believe they could offer anything, the coaches have all the experience they have plus the relevant information to hand, training etc and you think 'your' opinions from the 'stands' carry any weight?
Most suggestions ive seen indicate Watkins and Vickery playing on the right.

The defence has been a joy to watch...and I mean that. (Pity about the recent two 'soft' tries against Bradford though) .. Just need to get that attack working more slickly now. Roll on the (hopefully) harder grounds......and the return of Hardaker and BJB.
