| Standard Oz highlight package. Covers full back, wing & centre so could come in useful over the season if he impresses during his trial. Reminds me a bit of Delaney in that he has plenty of leg drive going forward & has a bit of pace.
I just wonder why things didn't work out for his move to Dull?

| Jack of all trades and master of none then?
I'ts quite simple; if he is better than Keinhorst then they will keep him. If he isn't then is off home.
Love the way someone said he can cover full back, you are either a full back or you are not. Like saying Sinfield can cover it or Burrow. Think we have enough cover there for next year. Zak, Bish, Watson

Disagree. It depends on the player. Jones-Bishop could easily play full back or wing, yet wouldn't play stand off. Tomkins could easily play stand off or full back but you wouldn't put him on the wing.
It also says on his Titans highlights package that his position is centre/wing/full back. Like Hardaker.

What's this "Meh" thing? Am I missing out on a trend here?
It certainly hasn't the impact that a real mammywhammer[size®[/size of an exclamation would make.

| Tonga was awful last year - one of the players copping most criticism from Parra fans.
I watch a bit of Qld Cup, and for whatever reason haven't ever noticed Vickery. But its a pretty good standard, with lots of NRL-experienced players alongside juniors waiting for a crack in the NRL.

| Getting Joe Vickery on a 3 month trial period is a typical move from GH and follows how he said he would recruit, namely young players with potential. It's win win for us, if he performs well we get a good squad player (although GH said any signings should be good enough to go straight into the team), if not then we look elsewhere. On the Gold Coast fans forums they don't speak too highly of Vickery but we will soon find out! If he does well will GH be looking for his quality player in a differant position?

No don't think we will be looking for a quality player in another position. Don't think any money will be spent now. I know we have improved younsters deals but we still must be well under the cap.
Personally looking forward to seeing some of our younster develop and break through. Hoping singleton gets some more game time and makes the impact I think he will

He's hardly young. Isn't he 23?
I have stopped listening to what media spam GH put's out. If people are taken in by it, so be it, you shouldn't complain when it doesn't happen.
