Edwards would get my vote. I'm wondering whether the RFL omitted him anticipating a fans' backlash on account of his union career, when in fact he might well have been the choice that would have found the greatest acceptance. |

Fortunately for the RFL (and fans probably everywhere outside of St Helens) those particular performances are associated with the Challenge Cup Final but IIRC not with Wembley Stadium in either of it's configurations. |
