Gary H coming out with the comment , has this team run its course, not very helpful . These remarks should be between him and the coach ,not exactly what the team needed going into a tough match at the wire. After all Gary watches these players week in week out and takes part in all contract negotiations.

The stupid thing is if we'd executed a little bit better and Lunt had kept hold of the ball, o brien hadn't scored a freak try, then even after a horrible 15 minutes we could have competed.

Its sport, so its always OK not to be the best team at some time or other. What's not Ok is putting up p*ss poor performances when you can do much better - especially at home.

I think unacceptable is the wrong word, i can accept when a team is better than the one i support but you should never be satisfied that they are.

Well I'm not going to make any apologies when I say NO. I don’t want to believe that there is any team better than Leeds. That’s what makes me a Leeds fan. But then again your loyalties have shifted somewhat in recent years haven’t they?

I will always believe that we are a better club than any other because that’s the mentality of a supporter. I have no “God given right” to think that we will win all the time but that’s what I hope will happen.
If you want to accept the fact that there’s nothing wrong at Leeds then that’s your God give right but I see a Championship winning side consistently underperforming. You obviously see it differently.

As an outsider,love Leeds or hate Leeds,the style of play for me has always been good to watch.The last few games I have seen,(Hull at the K.C. ,Wigan and Wire on the telly) it seems Leeds have been steamrollered from the beginning of the game.
Is this because the coach has no answer to this tactic,or indeed some of your squad are aging? No doubt someone will say I am talking crap,but as it was said on Catchphrase,"Say what you see."

Nobody is telling you how to watch anything. And i am certainly not ABOVE feelings of irritation as G1 suggests, yes I am primarily a Dewsbury fan but I have been around on this board for nearly ten years and that isn't going to change.

My point is that some Leeds fans expect to win, every time, and whine like schoolchildren when they either don't win by plenty or don't win at all. I grew up going to games I expected to lose, and took pleasure from either winning, or even just competing.

I was able to enjoy last nights game as a result, I bet you didn't.

Some fair points loiner re-Some expecting to win every game and i'd guess most if not all of those started following us in 04 or at the start of 07.
However there's nowt wrong imo from expecting to compete every week and there's nowt wrong in questioning the Coaches and Players when they churn out the dross like against Wigan ,St's and the 1st 30 minutes like last night.
I thought we did ok after the 1st 30 minutes but the start was disgraceful for that team who are capable and should be showing much better win lose or draw.

This isn't really aimed at anyone with anything cogent to say. But as I type this there is a thread describing Sinfield as a defensive weak link and Peacock as a spent force, a thread advocating the entire youth team be drafted in, a McD out thread, a waste of money thread and the Burrow in thread.
