| How on earth does Chase get picked again for the England team.
He has done nothing at all this season apart from breaking some guys jaw.
I see once again the team has been picked on reputation.
Isn`t it time we tried out some fringe players or has McNammara come from the same school as McDermott!!?

| The journos are talking rubbish Frosties... or at least if this is what the RFL have told them, then the are breaking their own operational rules in doing so!
The RFL can insist that they don't pay club football 5 days prior to a rep fixture, but nothing about after!
[iIn the event of a Representative Match being played during the Season a player selected in
the squad for a Representative Match shall not play for his Club within the period Monday to
Friday immediately prior to a Representative Match scheduled for a Saturday; or within the
period Monday to Saturday immediately prior to a Representative Match scheduled for a
Sunday, without the prior written consent of the Board. The Board shall determine, as regards
players selected in the squad for a Representative Match scheduled for a midweek date when
those players can play for their Club. For these and other purposes within these Operational
Rules, an international or other recognised representative squad shall comprise no more than
23 players unless the Board directs otherwise.[/i
So yes, players can double up and I would expect that some of them will. Equally, with the second midweek Exiles fixture the RFL are going to allow clubs to play their players the weekend before, as the above operational rules allows, because to do so would be very unfair!

| Thinking about it, Huddersfield will have to ask the RFL Board for permission to play it's squad players due to play for both squads for their Monday night fixture against Hull KR prior to the Exiles match on the following Saturday. I suspect the RFL board will grant permission... don't you?

| The question is would you want them to double up. The exiles match is going to be a tough match and to play 2 days later against us with a hopefully fully fit squad who have had a rest is a big ask. Plus there is this weeks game against Wolves to worry about and who's to say some players not picked for rep games may get injured. But the same can happen when we play Hull FC this week but we don't have rep games to play in.

| So the guy that cannot get into the Leeds team because of the hopeless "winger", Lee Smith, gets to play representative footie. One of the two respective coaches surely has a case to answer ?
So many Leeds players called up .... Is anyone meant to take the match seriously ??
As for the Leeds team, I suppose it's up to Peacock and Sinfield.. . Kirke for captain it is then.
