He seemed very well. Consoled some of your younger players - sign of a great leader!
I'll say I have dished out the abuse, but he is some player. Hopefully he'll get on well down under and I wish him the best of luck!

| FGB has always copped a load of flack but TBH I'd have had him in a Leeds shirt in the drop of a fart.

| Top, top player. Also a fairly spiky competitor, of the type you love when he plays for your team and don't love so much when he plays for your rivals.
Over-worked by Saints for too long and to be honest probably in dire need of a break now. Doubt he'll do quite such long stints next year and may well be better for it.
I almost feel for him that he hasn't won more Grand Finals. As usual, few people gave more on Saturday in the cause of rugby. Immanol Harinordiquay aside.

| He's a fantastic player and I hope he does very well down under. Just what you want from a modern prop and, of course, would have him at Leeds in a heartbeat.
Showed real leadership qualities Saturday, especially at the end.

| Awesome player.
Felt genuinely sorry for him at the end on Saturday, he hasn't deserved to be on the losing side in Grand Finals so often in his career.
I'd wish him all the best in the NRL, and hope he goes as well as Morley and Ellis!

| Can only really echo what others have said. He's matured a lot over the last couple of years, and has been nothing short of excellent whenever I've seen him play. In fact I'd go so far as to say, I don't think I've ever seen him have a bad game. His ball handling skills are the best I've seen on a prop.
Best of luck to the lad, hope it's not the last I've seen of him in SL.

Handled himself well after the game,

| I was praising his workrate on the way home on Saturday.
A top prop, good luck to him in Oz.

| Great prop, excellent workrate and super hands. One of the best of SL era.
However, I'm old school a little bit I guess, but for me really great props have to be able to dish out some pain and intimidate. If I think of my favourite props they have all been able to scare the poop out of people when needed.
Peacock sometimes looks like a maniac, Barry Mac? Lee Crookes, kelvin Skerrett, Uncle Trevor, etc.

| Fantastic player, a modern version of Lee Crooks. I hope he has a great time in the NRL.

| I have taken great pleasure in hurling abuse at Jammer and on numerous occasions too, but the simple fact is, would I love him in a rhinos shirt, too bloody right I would
I hope he has a great 4 nations series and then goes on to prove his undoubted ability in the NRL and rips into all those Aussies that doubt the quality of our leading SL players as nothing more than park footballers

| FGB is brilliant
Wears his heart on his sleeve and works his bo**ocks off in games
Got told a funny story about him the other week, when the last Four Nations were played over here, him and a few of the other England lads had ended up in Scarborough Taps for bit of grub and a pint at the end of the tournament. They all ordered food and apparently he had ordered a pie selection which consisted of a few of these pastry based products and mash which usually fill the customer up and is rarely finished. The Chef got a shock 15 minutes later as another pie selection order came through for the same table. The Chef went to the table few minutes later to deliver the food to see FGB sat there ready to destroy a second plateful with a huge smile on his face
Classic FGB

Was that when Wigan were trying to sign him
Edit: PS a pie selection what an awesome idea...I've not been to the Taps in years (given that I don't live in Leeds) and don't think I've ever eaten there.

I hope he kicks on down under like Gaz Ellis and Mozza did. I think it'll be good for him to play for a team where he won't be so heavily relied upon and not playing for Saints (who he seems to love) might also help with the dummy spitting!
On the other hand I hope the Aussies also let him keep his natural game and don't coach his ball playing out of him.
