It's an interesting marketing ploy - enabling your customers to spend more money on shirts too small for them and giant foam hands by not inconveniencing them with regular, expensive trips to major finals.
Getting to Cup finals in particular and then habitually losing them does tend to impact on the willingness of your supporter base to keep coming back, as Leeds found to their cost this August. How many tickets was it that went back again? |
