IMO - and that's all it is, based on what I've heard about the lad - his potential puts him closer to the former than the latter in terms of what you'd expect him to achieve from the game.

Also nicely fills the gap left by Marcus Elliott's departure in terms of young half backs at the club.

Course, according to FC fans he'll now be nowhere near as good as either Tom or Jack and probably on his way out of the club anyway. That they were willing to offer him a two year deal says differently.

Luke Briscoe is a fine player with great natural ability. I'm sure Leeds will harness that and he will go on to feature internationally with his brother, Tom.
