A nice little parting shot from Kath perhaps? We will never know I guess...god she winds me up! We clearly had a system with our youngsters which was not watertight and that's down our her. Ironic really. We should have had this guy signed up. At least our new owner will ensure this does not happen again.
From the people I've spoken to the general consensus is Luke is not as highly rated as Jack or Tom, but only time will tell with these things. He could turn out to be a world beater. |

Our new owner can afford it but with the lack of decent British props out there who are available, it was always going to take an inflated transfer fee to get someone decent in my opinion.
It was either that or going for Richard Moore
Disappointing for us we lose the youngest Briscoe but good luck to him at Leeds. |

IMO - and that's all it is, based on what I've heard about the lad - his potential puts him closer to the former than the latter in terms of what you'd expect him to achieve from the game.
Also nicely fills the gap left by Marcus Elliott's departure in terms of young half backs at the club.
Course, according to FC fans he'll now be nowhere near as good as either Tom or Jack and probably on his way out of the club anyway. That they were willing to offer him a two year deal says differently. |
