Told by who?
__________
When was the last time Leeds didn't provide a player for this fantasy team?
(I don't have the selections from 1996/1997/1998 so genuinely don't know if or when it last happened.)

| Would be interesting if Leeds or Huddersfield went on to win the GF (unlikely I know).
Pure assumption here but I can't imagine a Grand Final winning team without a single representative in the Dream Team has happened before?!

Didn't I give you them on another thread? They're on the SL website but are well hidden I believe.
Oh and it was Bywater wot said it.

| They're rlhererl.
And the answer to your question is 1998.
Although a certain Mr. I. Harris won Man of Steel, RLWA Player of the Year and Players player of the year.

Don't go paying any attention to him. Its a form of madness y'know, wearing yer scarf in bed, calling yer kid Barnstoneworth.

It hasn't ..... not yet.
Bradford came close when winning from 3rd in 2005, only Jamie Peacock sparing the selectors blushes if sparing is the correct term.

Quite right bloody disgrace - but no doubt Cameron Smith will take note as he takes Roby to the cleaners once again in the quad nations.
I can't believe Sinfield is not in it, how could he ever have been overlooked!!
He could have done his party trick and walked hand in hand with Tony Smith on the Leeds to Liverpool canal and the ship canal to the presentation - with Gareth walking/bowing/tugging his forlock on the tow path in appropriate recognition of such giants of our game

I can see why you would say that given the 'helpful' link you've found on the SL website.
But (and why is there always a but?) as I'm transfering that 1998 team on to the spreadsheet I'm thinking to myself 'this line-up seems awfully familiar' and like it would as I'd only just copied the '96 line-up five minutes earlier.
Bad enough them having Paul Broadbent at St Helens in '97 and having me question my own sanity (as you do) but to have a then current rugby union centre in the SL dreamteam had me thinking someone's taking the p[iis[/is.
Not your fault but I think I'm still looking for the 1998 SL Dreamteam and expecting it to be rammed with Leeds players ..... if anyone can oblige?

Here here, Carl's a real grafter, bobbing up when you need him and making some hard yards when needed too!!

Don't lower yourself to it mate.
Only an buffoon would come on a thread and use an argument of non picked for one position in a subjective fantasy team as proof of not good enough. Whilst at the same time argue another player is the best despite not even been picked in two positions in the same team.

Briscoes work rate blows Halls to pieces....Hall may have 7 more tries then Briscoe but look how many tries Hull have scored doen the left hand side with Yeamo and Briscoe.

In case you have forgotten, the Rhino's left hand side strike centre has been missing for a large part of the season.
ps - How many tries have Hull conceded down that left hand side ?
pps - how many of the tries that Hull scored down the left hand side are due to Willie Manu playing in that channel ?
