Last night we were composed, inventive, disciplined and structured.

Last week we were ill-disciplined, predictable, inept and shambolic.

It’s like we have 2 teams, one that plays and one that can’t be d and you just don’t know which team is going to turn up.

It’s almost as if the players are saying to the coach “we CAN play if we want to”

A win is a win and thats all it is 1 win, i half expected a total 2nd half collapse after brians motivational half time talk but no they stuck to their guns and kept up the tackling against what i can only describe as a very poor hull outfit. The same desire is needed on a consistant basis so time will tell.

To be honest I thought it was a strong defensive game for both teams, but too many mistakes and handling errors with ball in hand.

Hull looked clueless going forward, very little creativity - still think you'll make the playoffs, but Hull have a tough run in and KR could sneak in the 8 leaving FC out of it.

I think he meant we were very very good at dropping the ball....at least I hope he was. That was still far from a convincing performance ,,,but sums up the season that it might be considered so.

BMD wasnt happy throughout the game. maybe the players decided they would play what structure they would play and it wasn't what the numpty wanted

That's probably more likely than anything else.

It's annoying after the shocking performance last week. Harlequins were equally as mediocre under Mcdickweed. When you have a group of players with the ability who only seem to be able to show it in bursts there's only one place to look.

I think we'll at least see a lot of effort in the Cup next week as well - a lot of players in this team want to win a CC. Whether the quality will be there is another matter.

I would have thought you could only talk about inconsistency if we had played reasonably well more than a handful of times. How many 'good' performances have we actually put in this year? Wigan x 2, Cats and KR at home possibly? If anything, we've been remarkabley consistent, especially against the top sides.

In context, Bradford nilled Huddersfield this weekend, a team we've been unable to live with this season.
