This weekend has really seen the muppetry side of the Wiggin support come out of the closet, the sort of dipsticks we used to see on their charabanc trips to Wembley in the 1990s, the ones who only left the village once a year and thought that they'd probably see unicorns in London, the ones who thought that their team had a divine right to win every game they played.

I reckon we rattled them on Friday, they were expecting a 70 point victory and feel cheated that it didn't happen, they are certainly upset that not enough away supporters made the trip to enable them to pay the rent at the borrowed stadium this month.

Playing poorly and beating a 'good' performance from Leeds is excellant. First time this season we've come from behind at half time and won. Yes, it was a forward pass, after the ball was allowed to bounce from kick off, or a try after Webb's back chat or McGuire trying to take Pat out instead of looking for the ball. Just themselves to blame before the officials.

True is that. Taking responsibility rather than making excuses is a good first step. Haven't heard too many complaints from the playing or coaching staff thankfully. Generally a better effort. Means nothing if we don't build on it mind you.

I'd say the majority of Wigan fans didn't expect to beat you lot by a huge margin, Leeds have some quality players and were always going to up their game against Wigan. Yes we were lucky but still deserved to take the 2 points IMO.

No it doesn't hurt. We spent decades in the championship winning wilderness. 4 titles in 6 years was unbelievable and most of us still can't believe it so NOT being champions is something we know all too well.

We have spent many, many years NOT being champions so it doesn't 'hurt' at all.
