| I hope this isn't going to be the way Senior's career ends. He deserves better but I suppose its punishment from those rugby gods for selling all his losers medals on ebay.

| Great shame for him if it ends this way.
Great career and a household name in Rugby League.
Respect from a wire fan.

| Quote: RhinoNeil "I don't know about that, a few times this season he has ripped it up down the left flank like his golden says. Maybe the break will do him good.'"
He has had his moments just not that many, and in defence he looks very easy to get around.
Just feels like bit of a sad ending at the moment

| Quote: RhinoNeil "McDermott saying [iKeith has consistently been one of our top performers. [/i will be a surprise to many!'"
What Coach McDermott also said wasboth on and off the field.'
Which makes little sense but is typical of what we have come to expect from him, although on this occasion it's equally possible the website has f**ked up the quote.
I expect Senior will be back and I expect he will be back at Leeds. Having previously stated this should be his last season at Leeds, this injury ironically, could give him another.
Just shocked to find out he's human afterall and can sustain damage like the rest of us mere mortals.

Can't really remember him having a particulary long lay off due to injury before.

| Unlucky Juan. I preferred yours.
__________
Quote: Ferdy "Can't really remember him having a particulary long lay off due to injury before.'"
Since joining Leeds at the very end of the 1999 season Senior has played in 365 of the 392 Leeds games played from that point, 93.1%
Season by Season:
1999 - 3 From 3
2000 - 35 From 35
2001 - 28 From 33
2002 - 33 From 34
2003 - 32 From 35
2004 - 30 From 33
2005 - 29 From 36
2006 - 33 From 33
2007 - 30 From 32
2008 - 34 From 35
2009 - 28 From 32
2010 - 34 From 35
2011 - 16 From 16
The longest absence was the season ending ankle injury he picked up courtesy of Joe Vagana the week before the 2005 Challenge Cup Final (although he still played (at least attempted to play) despite the injury in the final.) After the final he missed the remaining 5 games of the season but returned the following year with another ever-present run.
An omen perhaps if he's looking for one.
The only other significant absence (beyond being on International duty or being rested) was a four game stretch in 2001 - I'll research the cause of that and report back shortly.
Edit: The 2001 injury absence was caused by a broken thumb picked up in the away defeat at Wigan - 23rd March.

I hope he is not being serious, yeah he has been a great servant and all, but surely this is time to cut ties.
all the best in recovery Keith! "Commenting on the news the 35-year-old said, "I was devastated after the specialist confirmed the worst news. Sounds like something Vicky Pryce would be good at.

| I would say that we should maybe stop moaning about his form now. If he's still playing and he shouldn't be, then that's not his fault and it's a credit to the guy for still wanting to play every week. Now it does look all over, but if he gets fit and the club still want him, then that's not his fault either (unless he really does have some "photos" of GH in a safe somewhere ).
A Leeds legend. Nothing to be sad about.

| I wonder how long it will be until Bradford get in touch with Seniors agent. They tend to be fond of players in these situations.

No. Only the infamous Vagana ankle. Then most other players would have lost a leg after having that beast land on them like he did on Keith.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him playing when he was 40, somewhere at some level.

| As a Wigan fan I will miss him, he was always strong in attack and defense when we played you. Of course we didnt like him but that was an indication of how good a player he was/is.

Smith in the centre for me (unless Webb is still out then it would be Ablett) that is until Watkins is fit.
