What..and miss the constant refrain about somebody trying the "chip over the top" ? My wife and I love watching and betting at what time he will first repeat his mantra for the umpteenth bluddy time.

On a serious note though, they really are bloody shocking. Really really really bad. I think they're ruining public perception of the game.

Sky could EASILY get rid of them.

It needs to be;
Bill (as the new Eddie, i.e. "Proper Journo"icon_wink.gif
Rod or Angela to replace Bill on the touchline.
Terry, Barrie, or Carney as the "Stevo" character (Ex-player, bit of a differing opinion etc. rotated due to work commitments etc).
Jon Wells to replace Clarke (Ex-player but a bit more staty and technical than the "Stevo" character.)

Don't get me wrong, I don't think that would be PERFECT but it would sure as hell be better than what it is at the minute.

If you throw in a guest each week as well, that's a pretty substantial. It's not like you'd notice losing three commentators. Over the Magic Weekend, or Thursday night Championship, you really do notice how much better the commentary can be.

If we're talking about there being no room for sentiment in business applying to the players, (Diskin, Senior etc) I seriously think Sky need to apply it here. They are well past their sell by date.

It is not a problem, along with Royal Wedding street parties, fat boy Pickles has relaxed the red-tape on Viking style funerals on British navigable waterways. The paperwork is much reduced and once you have done your now shortened (to just 30 pages) risk assessment report and waited 2 months for the full CRB checks to come back for everyone attending, you just need a simple permit stamped by Leeds CC, British Waterways, Environment Agency, The European Commission, The WWF (if burning animals) and the Dennis the Menace (& Gnasher) Fan club. Simples!
