| He's going to Warrington.
Simon Moran turned up at Headingley with a briefcase filled with £450,000 of unmarked £20 notes. Reports are he's getting nearly as much as Matt King.

32481_1289943324.gif They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn, at the going down of the sun and in the morning – WE WILL REMEMBER THEM:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32481.gif |

| IF Sinfield were to leave now, and note the IF in capital leters, I would eat my hat. I believe it would take something mega to take him away from HQ. Remember his speech after the 2009 Grand Final about players who could line their pockets elsewhere with a few extra quid but choose not to for special nights like this? Well, look what moving from Leeds did for Calderwood, Walker et al. Both have attended Grand Finals over the past three years and I bet they wish they were playing rather than watching.
He aint going anywhere and will end his playing days as a Leeds Rhino's player!

| "I don't know where the rumours started about me moving. I signed a new contract last year.
I have three years left and I am very happy. I will finish my rugby league career at Leeds Rhinos.
Every day I pinch myself. We have got a great squad, a great group of players, we are well coached and have the best fans in the world. Why would I want to go anywhere else?"
Kevin Sinfield after winning the GF last year.

Don't get me wrong I don't think for one minute Kevin will be signing for Salford, it's all a very strange rumour, however contracts mean little these days, say for instance a club needed to cut the Salary Cap (and again I'm not suggesting that Leeds have a problem in this area) then the club could come to some arrangement with another club/the player for a release by maybe paying part of his wage, releasing him on a free or taking a transfer fee.
But let's be honest, does anyone actually believe this story?

Sorry lawrie, not sure I understand, do you mean because of the cost of building the new stadium?

Yeah, is it a joint venture with the club & the Councill or is totally funded by the club?

Aah right, no, the club has no financial involvement now, it's Salford City Council and Peel Holdings that are funding it and I think that has freed up the money to make the signings we've made so far.

| Who knows what the future holds, but I am sure GH sees Sinfield as part of the fabric of the club, he is the perfect role model, and ambassador - I suspect he will be heavily involved for a long long time if GH gets his way.

| Can't see this myself, however aren't Leeds supposed to be the one team who don't pay the players over the top? If Sinfield is offered good money he would be daft to turn it down.
