I'm not sure the squad is up to it. I think some new faces are required and some of the contract renewals made mid season were just plain wrong.

I agree we need some "freshening up" maybe the replacement for Eastwood added to the return of Bjb ,Watkins and the emergance of Ambler and Clarkson may give us that extra lift and last but not least the return of Brian Mc which i personally think will help improve our defence and discipline.
I also think a full pre-season will help although we will have to start the new season without Mags and JP.
I'm hoping now that we've retained the elder statesmen that we get the oppurtunity to rotate and rest them because if we have to rely on them for a full seasons work then it will be a long year imo.
It was great to get to Wembley although the performance was shocking and it was good to see the emergance of Ambler and Clarkson.

The score didn't flatter Wigan at all.....be honest. Wigan played well this evening, Leeds didn't hand it to them.
One other thing......Sinfields conversion to the dubious try didn't go between the posts, watch the replay.

Danny has hit the nail on the head, Leeds are in need of a number of new faces, age and in some cases mediocrity (Kirke and Delaney) has caught up with possibly the best Leeds side ever assembled, it happens, the unfortunate thing is I now see Wigan dominating SL for the next 3 years.

I said last week they'll win it next year and the year after. They have to be stopped this year.

Saints will beat them, two one dimensional to out score Saints, add the Cunningham factor and I see a bit of a stroll.

Next year however Wigan will be a very different animal, the signings they have made significantly improve that side.

Completely disagree 1st of all they've got to win it yet then IF they do that they will have to face the pressure of carrying the Champions tag everywhere they go which has finally caught up with us.

Wigans recruitment for 2011 has been exceptional.

Saints are like Leeds in transition, unfortunately nobody told Hetherington that Leeds were in need of a transitional phase so they signed everyone back on!!

I think the additions of Perry and LMS to an already decent Saints pack makes their pack better than Wigans imo.
I agree the signings of Hoffman and Lima are good but i'd back the Saints ones overall.

wigan probably deserve the win overall and theres no doubt they have been the form team of the competityion but in terms of injuries they have been one of the luckiest too, i dont recall many injuries apart from robers broken leg while nearly every member of the leeds team this season has missed games at some point
lets hope leeds have better luck next season and we can try and reclaim the crown
