Fletcher: Course, he sees 'imself as an authority on curry, he does, on account of where he was stationed in the army.
Rudge: Where? India?
Fletcher: No, Bradford.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_40413.jpg |

| Nice to hear so called supporters saying that they hope Danny McGuires career is over and reducing a teenage girl to tears with animal behaviour after they'd left the stadium.
I've lost what little respect I had for Wigan after this.

Do you ever have anything worthwhile to say? Or is your raison d'etre to spout meaningless, pointless, and worthless bile everywhere???

Do yo know what pal,I've been watching this sport for 30+ years now and I've been to Wire on many occasions and I've never seen any vitriol either at Wilderspool or the HJ at all.

| Unfortunately Wigan came into the game cock sure they were going to win with Leeds light in the forwards, low on form and being 14 points up in the first 17 minutes you wouldn't have backed against them. But we have quality in our side and deserved our win

| Both the Tomkins shizters showed themselves up for what they are – dirty little fookers.
Sam has unquestionable skill but I would have thought that Terry Halibut would have been wise to his trapping techniques as the little shlt has being doing it all season.
Joel deliberately kicked an opposition player – what a girl, if he had a beef he should have stood up and swung for McGuire.
Oh and talking of La Ref it’s about time Halibut grew a pair – he seems to have left his spine in the same place as his bollox..

39789.jpg To die of thirst we have no fear.
As long as we get Holts' beer!!!!:39789.jpg |
|
| As a completely neutral observer and fan of a team unlikely of ever being in this position I feel I must take a few things up here.
1. Last year on Grand Final day I witnessed a group of so called Leeds supporters abuse a local man in an wheel chair outside a pub in Swinton. (therefore I think that we can all say that ALL clubs have their few morons who let the club down).
2. Show me in the rule book where it says that you are not allowed to hold onto the ball tightly in the tackle! If you analyse what Tomkins is actually doing there is nothing for the ref to penalise him for! The onus is on the tackler to get out of the way. Tomkins is merely taking advantage of the almost automatic response of defenders in the modern game to get their hands right around the ball in every tackle.
3. As for brother Joel Tomkins and his kick out at McGuire... well it was stupid on his part and ultimately cost Wigan the game! However, when you take into account that IMO Leeds should already have been down to 12 men following the potetially neck breaking spear tackle on Prescot by Danny Buderus. I feel that this levels the playing field somewhat.
All in all, as a neutral who generally attends the Grand Final with no hope of glory at the end of it, I am praying that we don't have to witness yet another sterile, crowd dwindling Leeds v Saints encounter. This is what is wrong with the play-offs. It rewards mediocrity!!!

4. In that case don't forget Wigan also being down to 12 men following the potentially neck breaking spear tackle on Eastwood.

| It was justice because Richards first half penalty attempt did not go over! We were right in line, and it missed by a clear metre!

| No! Just I don't think a thread entitled "Justice" can apply when there was clearly a penalty to Wigan on that play!! McGuire pulled Carmont down and because the muppets on Sky and the ref and touch judge focus on the wrong incident you lot think that he was allowed to do it. The fact that he ended up injured is merely ironic, not deserved or desirable!
