Now don't get me wrong Bluey has to take his portion of blame but every player i've seen interviewed said clearly "we went away from the game plan" or words to that effect.
Warrington were very good dug in i the 1st 15 minutes and the were clinical in taking their chances now all that isn't just down to TS they had the hunger, belief and enthusiasm to carry that out whereas our lot......
Well we know what happened and i agree changes are needed to the squad both in selection and recruitment and also the coaching staff we already have Brian Mcdermott joining and a new u20's coach tba so maybe that will freshen things up and we can move on.
FWIW i think it was a mistake signing all the players that were OOC but it's what we are stuck with and hopefuly we'll suffer less from injuries and get more consistent with and without the ball next year.'"
And yes Bluey couldnt have forseen such a poor performance all round from the majority of the 17 selected I do agree. Rarely however do we see the players taking the blame for this which once again is probably wrong but seems it is they way it is.
I cant disagree with a lot of what you say but I do believe Bluey has often winged it with the "squad togetherness" line seemingly not having a plan B if it goes tits up....... sooner or later it was going to catch up with us..........it did yesterday!

Absolutle shambles on all accounts.
Firstly that a player is getting selected who doesn't even feel fit enough himself.
and then allowing the players to select the team.
If ali wasn't fully fit he shouldnt have been selected in the first place.
But he was so McClennan should have overuled.

No doubts about it it kicked us right up the jacksy mate but i don't believe you can "wing it" to 2 GF wins and many on here could'nt wait to be rid of TS now he's some sort of "RL Jedi master" yet it took him 2yrs and plenty of ££££ to beat us.
I think both are good coaches and have done great jobs for Leeds but the squad is that bit older and the injuries run deeper and we caught a team who were red hot yesterday and maybe we are done for this year although i'll never write us completely but there's more to come from the Rhinos imo and we are not done yet.

He's on his way anyhow, and quite possibly earlier than anticipated. I believe we are both in agreement over the unsuitability and coaching record of his likely replacement-in-waiting, yes?

A good motivator for sure and certainly motivated a hungry team which was at its best to succeed..............as I believe TS would have done.
The difference being I think TS would have moved a number of players along over the period Bluey has been here.

So are you expecting Bluey to go at the end of the year and Brian Mc to take over?

I think it's entirely possible that McClennan will make his exit earlier than anticipated, assuming some of the rumours I've heard recently are true. One year contract extensions don't mean a great deal as Scott Donald will testify. I don't even want to consider Brian (7th, 9th, 9th, 11th, 12th) McDermott as his likely replacement.

Finally someone on the same wavelength. I thought iwas the only one who thought he wouldn't be up to it.
General consensus on here seemed to be good choice.

| If fit Ali should have played but he is a risk now. However even had he played it would not have made enough the difference. Too many players had an off day. Nothing went right even the Wires crowd made more noise. The Leeds fans were subdued even before the game. No "Marching on Together" etc

To be fair to Brian Mc he was highly rated here before he left for Quinns mate and i see yer point re-SL finishes but he's had very little to work with imo.

| What he's had he's taken backwards, in terms of SL finishing positions.
That would be the concern although it's not forced to be replicated at a club able to spend close to the cap which I imagine is a luxury he's not enjoyed in the big smoke. Either way Leeds' next coach will have a tougher job on his hands than the previous two.

I'm inclined to agree mate they will have the added pressure of following 2 championship winning coaches and that's before they have to see the club through it's "transitional" phase.
