Second row probably, had performed well in the position at club level and had his finest game in a GB shirt as a substitute in the role at the McAlpine V the Kiwis.
At the time Walker claimed it wasn't down to money and Leeds had made him a perfectly acceptable offer to continue his career at Headingley. It'd be interesting to know how much influence David Howes had on Walker's move to Bath. At least Walker didn't die wondering but with the benefit of hindsight I wonder if he'd make the same decisions again? |

I think he meant that it was daft given the situation he was in at the time ie in excruciating pain and his lower leg at right angles to his body! I wish him all the best at the Bulls. |

It's the mileage though. Not many players who start 1st team rugby at 16 last past 27/28 at top level. I wish him well, but the odds are against him I think. |
