| Prop.
Apart from thaty my preference would be for a world class attacking centre to replace the threat Senior has given us for so long. I don't really think Delaney has made any advance on Smith who was just adequate at 3 going forward. If Kallum Watkins develops then I'll be happy, but I would have preferred us to keep Smith last year and not sign Delaney, who is frankly average in attack. These days it's difficult to be able to afford two top class centres, but when Senior (probably) calls it a day at the end of next year we won't have one unless Watkins really comes on fast. I also appreciate that the likes of Senior don't come around very often in English RL, so maybe I'm being unrealistic.

| I had hoped that we would have been looking for another hard hitting prop before JP got injured. Now I think it is essential.
The backs look ok for 2011, so it's just a case of waiting for GH to come up with the goodies.

Always looks injured when I've seen him this year plus he's a penalty machine.
Pomeroy looks a big unit & just below Test or SOO class.
It's a pity we couldn't pick up Atkins who looks better now he's with a better team.
LMS would be a useful addition or how about Tony Clubb?

Would he want to come? He'd be saying hello to Barry Mac every day!
It's an interesting thought, and in the few games I've seen of him this season, he's playing well, but at 31 this year.......? I don't know.
He'd certainly ease the workload on JP though.

Blair would be my choice, in a perfect world.

| I have heard from a very good source that one of the names mentioned in this thread will definitely be on the back of a 2012 Rhinos shirt .

| Like many, I want to see a hard working prop forward brought in. I've said this before but someone like Mitchell Sargent would be spot on. Top workrate, excellent attitude and he makes metres. It's a shame he's returning to Australia next year.
LMS would be a good buy but I fear the rumours about Saints bagging him will prove correct.
I'd take on Fielden on a reduced wage as I'm intrigued at what Brian McDermott could do with him.

| Olivier Elima would be my choice, had a poor season in a poor side this year but previous season top try scorer for a forward and never takes a backward step. Ideal to put some clout in the pack and a very dangerous outside runner.

Already signed for Bradford if the rumours are true.
Bryn Hargreaves could be in a Leeds shirt next season though

| Wouldn't take Fielden. I still rate him when he plays well but TBH his dips in form are just too prolonged to make him a serious contender. In any case, I'm not sure that our current props don't have what it takes although admittedly some need to work far, far harder if they're to be a truly dominant force as a unit.

| It's also worth considering the loan players we've got out ....
Will Ben Jones-Bishop take the place of say, Donald on the wing ?
I read in League Express the other week that Tom Bush's last appearance in the Academy was at full back.
There's Simon Worrall at Toulouse. Dane Manning at Fev and there's always the on-going development of Mike Coady, who has not had the best season at Fev, but I would assume is still 'green'.
There's also the development of Pitts and what about Ambler at prop ?
Do we actually still need to go sign someone, even with players leaving, given what we've got developing in the background ?

Withe the number of 30+'s in our squad mate we definately need at least 1 more signing and i reckon it should be a Prop or a Centre.
Worrall is OOC so i expect him to leave given the emergance of Clarkson and the possible return of Manning plus Pitts,Jjb,Ablett,Ali and Kirke.
Injuries permitting i'd expect a lot more squad rotation next year and then the "transitional phase" starts imo with some of the elder statesman moving on.

| There are rumours circulating that we are looking at Jason Chan. Not sure how reliable this source is but at 26 he is on the younger side than a 30+ year old
