Probably just a coincidence.
While he's stated he's looking for a head coaching position I'm not sure he could cope with the reduction in salary, although with tax credits it could be pay marginally better than the dole. |

The reduction was between being an assistant at Headingley and being head coach at Odsal. Nothing to do with Castleford who fortunately/unfortunately are off my radar, with none of them heading our way very often.
I know a few Bulls fans still like to visit to remind themselves of the glory years.
