| It was a penalty and it was dealt with correctly at the time, not much else to say on the matter IMO.

| It was a cracking game to watch as a neutral but though there was too much involvement from the ref.
Thought the sin binning of Farrell was harsh as the kid was commited and in the air when McGuire put the kick in. How is that worth 10 minutes and Peacocks high tackle not? Rules need tweaking IMO.
The Senior incident the ref got right it was a penalty though there was absolutely no malice from Senior but what he did counts as dangerous play. That said I thought the game was played in the right spirit by both teams making the high penalty count a tad baffling.

| 10 minutes I thought, the player should safeguard others & Senior kicked out far too high & with plenty of venom knowing full well it could be considered an accident. The fact he came over all 'soz mate' probably saved him from the yellow. Great acting keith!
As for the comment Senior kicked out in frustration at Wigan's holding down it was the same from both sides, didn't think it was too bad throughout to be honest.
Ultimately Wigan should have won the game but didn't because they made seriously sloppy errors at the end of the game & Bentham made some critical errors including the non penalising of Leeds just before half time when not one player had a single foot behind the goal line on the last play of the half yet penalised Wigan for the same thing?
Still super exciting match.

| Penalty for kicking out in the tackle ....... correct
No sin-binning as it was accidental and therefore not dangerous play.....correct.
RFL jumping on the bandwagon next week and issuing a directive coz it was on telly...100% YES!

| Althought it was completely accidental with no intention, it is a problem in the game which needs to be sorted out.
Remember we lost Sinfield in the WCC after one of the Melbourne players kicked out in the tackle and got Sinny in the leg. This not only ruled him out for 60 mins of that WCC, but put him out for weeks.

I see no mention of the Coley incident, or the fact Wigan had a final warning around the 50 min mark yet continued to be penalised further for infringments with no binning

I am a Hull fan who really didnt care who won today!
Didnt Coley rightly get penalised for lifting the player above the horizontal? Not sure what your point is tbh.

Senior incident was correct decision IMO as not intentional as was messing at PTB but can't kick out.

| I also thought the ref had a good game. When you consider the weather and the fact that was the ball stripped or was it a knock on i think he got most of the calls correct. the pen count may well of been high but it was not a dirty game.Just played at a high intensity that lead to a lot of errors from both teams.

My point is you failed to mention the Coley incident but thought JP should have had a yellow. Did you think Coley's incident was far less worse than JP's and did not warrant a mention?

BBC and Davis gave it some airtime in their post match analysis, though no mention of the dangerous tackle on Delany in the first half though. cant remember who the Wigan player who did it was but Im assuming it will be a trip to Red Hall for a two match ban?'"
Does Jonathan Davis EVER have a nice word to say about Leeds like?? It's a wonder no one chucked something at that Bradford/Hudd/Salford reject Robbie Paul in the interview with him and Senior afterwards too!! At least John Kear tried to remain impartial!

Regards the incident it was dealt with in the correct way for me, who is at the moment a slightly gutted Wigan fan. Silly play by Senior to kick his legs that high but no real intent, although I expect he will get a letter warning him about kicking out in future.
The Smith knock on in the build up to the Tomkins no try that Ganson ignored and the Farrell sin binning were 2 very contentious calls though for me.
At the end of the day though the game was there to be won by both sides and Leeds found a reason to win it, where as Wigan seemed content to defend the slender lead they had rather that trying to go out to win it. Congratulations and good luck in the rest of the cup.
