| I was always jinxed with Knowsley Road. Every Leeds away game I've attended over the last 20 years or so resulted in me not seeing 1 Leeds victory!!!

In that case I have only beat you buy one... 1999!
Well I say that, but 1994 onwards for finals and most CC cup games since early 1980's.

| Don't have a clue who to vote for, any suggestions?
I'd really need to look into each parties policies and plans, though most of it just seems to be propoganda to sway voters.
I'd like to emmigrate away from this crap heap of a country as soon as possible.

Then don't vote - its not compulsory and if you don't like any of the party's and don't want to stay here then don't worry about it, switch off and ignore it all.
Just out of interest which crap heap of a country would you choose over this crap heap of a country then ?

| I once opened my ballot paper at a local election and didn't want to vote for any of the candidates listed in front of me. There was one odious creature on there so I once exercised my democratic right to write "is a c*nt" next to his name on the ballot paper. Folded it up and posted it with a smile on my face.
A friend of mine works for the local paper, she was at the count later on that evening and there was suddenly a look of shock on this old dears face. She showed the ballot paper to a colleague, where I had made my protest. Eventually my friend was telling us the tale over a pint one night and I couldn't stop laughing about it. When asked about this I owned up to scribing said phrase.

Shame it isn't compulsory .... Having said that, I'd also put a large box at the bottom with the phrase "None Of The Above". That ought to focus a few minds.

I agree.
The problem at the moment with non-voters is that they are completely ignored by parliament however if 70% of the electorate actually turned out and ticked "none of the above" then that would be a message that no-one could ignore.

I’ve always found it easy to get into my local MP’s surgery even though I‘m not going to bother voting in my life. God help the next one who gets in.
