We dont know if the Bradford set up is any better than Leeds'. Unless you're going to tell me you've had first hand expirience of both? Obviously Ryan has both - and that is what i'll go by.

And the fact that Leeds lost two of their brightest young prospects in the Burgess twins to another club clearly shows that our academy set up is superior.

So you'd ditch Burrow then?????

I have'nt seen him play but have heard him mentioned before in terms of potential but saying Burrow is finished is ridiculous especially 6 games into a new season after comlpleting 3 -in-a-row with Burrow more than contributing to that feat.
If he's as good as is made out and he joins us and goes on to be fantastic then all well and good but when you state something that strongly i think you are way off the mark.

I said at the start "prospect". Then I said to replace Burrow at end of 2012.

What more clearer could I have made it?

It's a straight forward point mate with no messenger shooting involved!
I do know that when we lost the Burgess twins Leeds offered what they thought they were worth and Bradford offered more very much the same situation we had with Scruton as for comparing the set-ups i go by what i've seen produced,written by others within the game and what i've seen when down there and i'd back ours!
The fact a player who wasn't selected in the 1st team and we don't know what he was offered if anything by leeds has left and now he says Bradford is a better set up is hardly surprising is it?

If Burrow 'is finished as far as a star scrum half goes' why are you keeping him until the end of 2012?

Burrow is contracted to Leeds until the end of 2013 by the way.

I’d rather go on fact than hearsay and the fact is the Rhinos have won the grand final three times in a row whilst Bradford have done naff all. The fact is more Rhinos academy players go on to play super league than academy players from Bradford.

You did but you also said he "would be superb" and Burrow IS finished as a top scrum half very different to he "may" be and burrow "might" be finished by 2012.
I'm not going Gareth'esque i just read that post as a statement of fact with 2 different meanings within it.

let me make it clearer. Burrow IS finished as a top scrum half IMO now. He is however more than adequate for us for the next couple of years. Where he will still exceed the performances of other sides, hopefully.

Brierley is a fantastic prospect, who WILL be by 2012 be a superb player. There is plenty of coaches and ex and current players who would put their name to that statement.

I also know plenty of coachs and ex-players who have named "superb" players in the past but until they do it on the field at SL level at least they remain "prospects" and once again Burrow being finished as a top SH in your opinion is ridiculous 6 games into a new season.
Again your ability to see into the future is amazing should we get down to billy hills and put a £20.00 bet that brierly will be superb in 2012 or should we wait and see what transpires before offering opinion as fact?
If he turns out as he's touted then great but lets not "overstate" his potential without him proving it whilst at the same time writing Burrow off!

Lets put it this way. Surely it would be better IF we have the opportunity, to have that kid in our systems for the next couple of years if I am right, rather than at some other club where if I am right he will end up costing an arm and a leg.

And I didn't say Burrow was finished after 6 games, don't you be so ridiculous. I said he was finished as a top scrum half, which is a difference, and this was highlighted last year not this. Now is only a continuation of that.
