I was going more on finishing post play-offs really, rather than League position.
For me, MOS should be the person who has most influence on the season. To have someone who failed to shine in the cup final, and any of the play-off games seems a bit stupid

| Hodgson winning Man of Steel is akin to Carl Hall being voted Leeds best ever player.

| How many readers of this forum will be asking 'Carl who?'
Shame.
I once asked James Lowes who he thought was the best player at Leeds, and he laughed and said 'Carl Hall'

| Least deserving recipient since James Roby robbed Trent Barrett because Edxdie Hemmings said they "liked to give the awardto British players".
Time to think about taking the decision away from the players and giving it back to the media because they've certainly got it wrong this time.
Also, when do they ballot the players? This looks to me like they did it just after the CC semi (his one decent performance in a big game) and not after the Cup Final or any of his anonymous performances in the Gnats 2 playoffs defeats.
Table toppers, 3rd consecutive GF, 5th GF in 6 years, a chance to be the 1st club EVER to win 3 successive Grand Finals, Bluey with a chance to be the 1st coach EVER to coach a team to back to back GF wins......
..and still no awards for our individuals.
Meat and gravy for the team talk again Bluey, meat and gravy.

You've got to start somewhere.
Ryan's dad.
Carl Hall: Played 16 + 2, 8 Tries, 32 Points. Tony Kemp's brother-in-law.

I don't think he made 50 metres in all of those 18 apperances he made.

Is that because we are a team so its difficult to pick stand out performers?
Quote: G1 "Meat and gravy for the team talk again Bluey, meat and gravy.'"
I think the only team talk necessary on Saturday is if we win tonight we are the best SL team ever. No talk of the recent issues with Saints and no revenge for not being selected in MOS. We have nothing to prove individually.

New Year's Day 1996 during the shortened Centenary season. Leeds won 20-14 as well so perhaps a good luck omen that it's been recalled this week.
