I would imagine he gets through far more work than any of your props bar Peacock.
Just what we need to take the heat off Graham.

Go on then, bar the obvious exception in the superb Mr Peacock, which Leeds prop is clearly better than Nick Fozzard?
Ryan Bailey isn't, Kylie isn't. Burgess? Possibly now and definitely in a year or two.

Well the stats would suggest otherwise, with Kylie , Burgess and Fozzards stats looking very similar. Bailey stats are not worth looking at though due to injury, so the answer there would be no then!

Kylie is a much better prop than fozzard and when they've faced off kylie by plenty!!

Do they? Fozzard appears to have made more carries, metres and tackles in 6 fewer games than KL.
That looks like a fair bit more work to me. Which is exactly what we need to lift some of the responsibility from Graham's shoulders.

not so sure kylie is ok in very short bursts yes he does hit the ball up hard and hits hard but fozzy does that aswell and longer stints, but i do think it's a bad signing going back to someone you did'nt want in the first place smacks of desparation to me

| Too old. Past it. Knees and desire have gone.
Saints fans would be knocking one out if we'd made such a desperate signing.
As far being better than all our forwards bar 1. Well, maybe five years ago, yes.

Could be right, could be wrong. Guess we'll see.
All I know is he is better than Hargreaves and stops us having to play back rowers as props, so improves the squad.

Are you suggesting that if you had the chance to sign either Kylie, Bailey or Fozzard you would have said Fozzard?

I said they look very similar, because they do, and did not want to get into a stats battle but what about 5 times more off-loads, twice as many tackle busts, less errors and two more tries!
Admit it they are similar and I would even agree that Fozzards are slight;y better than Kylies, but is that FAR more work? I think not!

I dissagree, whilst fozzard may be on longer and make more metres kylie' impact is harder for the opposition to recover from, just watch last years GF or other times they have met.
Fozzard is a battered old war-horse who's time at the top has been and gone!

'" Aye.
Fozzy was a cracking prop. Always rated him. Was sorry we let him go when we did.
Going back to Saints might re-juvinate him but to me he looked like a player going a season too long.

Bailey
Kylie is an impact prop and not what we need, we need a workhorse - our impact comes from Maurie, TP and Roby. We need someone to take some workload off Graham, Fozzard will do this better than KL would.
Is he a better prop than KL? Depends what you're after - for what we need at the moment, yes he is.
