Looked really bad and you could see how bad it was right from the back of the southstand. I hope that it isnt a career threatening injury, because he doesnt deserve it as he is a quality player.

Credit to the southstand tonight when it happened because they were immense and acknowledged it straight away, which was unbelieveable.

As a Leeds fan but rugby league fan first and foremost, I would like to send my regards to Chev and his famiy.

Just got back from the match and seen it on Sky. I hope to see Chev back on the field as soon as possible.

This puts the entire sport into perspective. Chev my thoughts are with you.

As a Rovers fan I have to say that the South Stands immediate response of "There's only one Chev Walker" is the best sporting gesture I have ever had the privileged to witness. On the Western Terrace, we couldn't see what had happened and I only heard about in the car on the way home.

The fracture itself is serious enough but if tendons and nerve damage is involved it will be a lengthy rehab process. Hope all goes well for Chev.

I really hope he gets back to fitness and plays SL rugby again would be terrible for it to force him to end his career.

I was pleased he got a good reception as he was been taken off. It was obvious from Senior's instant reaction it was a bad injury. Bit of a sickener.

Horrible stuff tonight. I witnessed someone braking their leg in a game at uni once, the noise was horrible, Senior clearly heard that.

A nasty compound fracture, but not in a place which should bother tendons and the like. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

A great gesture by the south stand and much credit to Senior. I can't imagine the pain he must have been in, and to then clap the south stand in acknowledgement shows what a tough ba$tard he is. If anyone can recover from this then Chev can.

Ive suffered a leg break myself, It not nice. It was only a minor one similar to Kirke's - crutches and pot for 6 weeks and even that got me down emotionally. Until youve experienced it you dont know how much it get you down emotionally. Little things like ing about with crutches whilst getting off the sofa and stuff like that really get to you. I really cannot imagine doing it for months on end. Its going to be a tough few months for chevy, but he'll pull thou!

Saints fans are conspicuous by their absence on here. Probably because they can't have a go at Leeds supporters or players over this.
