I think it’s the realisation that there is a distinct prospect of them finishing the season with zip that has narrowed their narrow minds even further.

I think you'll find that most of them are teenagers who can't even remember Tommy Martyn playing for the "S".

The problem with Saints fans is that we're a team on a natural decline back out of being in a position to contest the major trophies. It's difficult to accept.
Leeds will be in the same position in a couple of years when the likes of Senior, Sinfield and Peacock have all left. The salary cap is really going to bite over the next few years.
