Can’t see any game at Headingley been a sell out for a very long time unfortunately!

If we beat saints on friday, and suceed againts Salford away on the week afterwards.. when will we be given the hub cap. Would it be first round of the play offs or do you think that they will give it too us at Salford?

Couldnt they give it to us at the game against Saints if we beat them by say 20 points - couldnt they give us it then with the points difference being about 71 above, and being 2 points clear.

It won't be awarded whilst it's mathematically possible for more than 1 outcome.

So what about Salford, do you think they'd hand it too us at The Willows, or the next home game n the Play offs?

I'd hope they wouldnt award it (if won) at the home play-off. the team's focus needs to be totally on that game!

IMO I would like them to give it too us (if won) at Salford, because the players will need to be focused for the play off match in hand, and not picking up a shield at the end of a play off game.

IIRR, They were in a helicopter in the middle of Leeds and St Helens with the shield in their waiting to know who won it. Then flying to the place were the winners were. Salford much closer.

present it, if won, at salford, that way it stays with the regular season where it belongs. Cos at the end of the day its nice to win, but come play-off time, pretty unimportant IMO

IF it happens it will be at our first home games in the play-offs which IMO creates a strange atmosphere in that if its presented before the game (which I think might have happened with Saints before one of our Q play of games the last 2 seasons??) there's a danger of it being a hinderence to the players taking their minds off the job in hand and if its after the game you run the risk of a false/deflated celebtation following a loss.A kind of no win situation for me

Hense why I think it would be right to present this at Salford, after the final regular game of the season.

Man United got the Premier League title given to them at Wigan the other year, so why is this any different? (well yeah, they dont have a play off series to go through).

I'd be a bit wary of speculating as to when they'll present us with the League Leaders Shield until we know who's actually won it.
