| The two clear issues are the discipline and the Buderus/Diskin situation.
Bluey needs to grow some testicles and drop Diskin. Danny Buderus was playing state of origin last season and is an 80 minute player. I like Diskin and i though he did ok last night when he came on but Buderus is in a different class. He will be unhappy at been taken off all the time. It's probably too late now this season but it needs sorting for next year.
With 14 minutes or so left last night i still fancied us, then giving away 5 or 6 penalties runied any chance we had of doing anything.
get it sorted bluey, show them who is the boss.

| The last few games have hidden the fact that Leeds really arent quite on it and with the Coach in charge never will be.
The decision to take of Buderus (who it is a priveledge to watch) when Leeds were well on top was nothing short of schoolboy, Buderus has always been a 80 mins number 9 so why bloody play him in spells.
Additionally, I also though Sinfield was garbage, his speed of thought cost us two tries lastnight, he seems incapable of shifting the ball quickly.
Discipline i would suggest is almost becoming Carry On its that bloody funny.

| Two of the Wigan tries seemed to come from lazy / slow / poor slide defence from left to right (am thinking of the two where Wigan runners were coming back against the slide defence).
The first when McGuire was on the floor and not at marker it seemed Burgess was slow moving to his right to cover Sinfields inside (no coincidence he was substituted immediately after?).
Not sure on the second until I see it again.
Our goal line defence just hasn't seemed upto it lately, at the start of the season it was one of the stand out parts of our game.
Anyone any idea's why its gone of the boil? Have teams worked out some sort of weakness?
Burgess' lateral movement doesn't quite seem upto it, are teams exploiting this? (not wanting to single him out, but its been mentioned on here before...)

| Buderus was our best player but i also thought burrow looked quite sharp and never stopped working.
Senior was awful and is getting quite consistent at it but he keeps having the odd good game and everyone thinks the sun shines out of his a*se. Move him into the pack or end it bluey he is a spent force.

| Disapointing performance from the Rhinos. Wigan had built this game up and the Warriors could not afford to be poor after the hype. Bluey tried to play it down so much that we were still asleep when we ran on the pitch. Absolute rubbish I am afraid. Rather than calming them down they need a good kick up the backside. He was already talking about a weekend off 2 weeks ago and we still have to "welcome" Tony Smith back to Headingley next week. We have got to be better than this

I wish Sinfield would play more like a traditional 13 and concentrate more on his running game than his passing game. The reason for this is not because I don't rate Sinfield - i do, but McGuire is wasted in the current Leeds team.
McGuires best games this year were when the team were more reliant on him being the key playmaker due to Burrow being injured. At the moment he is forced to stick in one channel and doesn't see enough of the ball. A few times on friday Burrow zig zagged all over the pitch, he didn't seem to know what he was trying to do. I'd put McGuire at 7 - and bring Burrow on for impact at 9 while Buderus is injured.
If we are going to continue with the current 6,7 and 13 as they are let the half backs play the half back role and the 13 play a forwards role.

Who do you suggest plays at centre then?

When webb is fit
We have options with Smith Watkins Gibson and Ratu
The last three need to be playing consistantly to gain the big game experience they play one week then the next its all change again.

By far the biggest offender penalty wise - who is also the captain so presumably plays a part in setting the example for his team mates - didn't play last week. Coincidence?

Is sinfield really top penalty conceder. I'd have had it as JJB or ABlett, with Senior not far behind

I'd have guessed similarly but I was bored enough to look them up yesterday. Have a look on the 'discipline' thread for the top 10.

Just seen it. In his defence he ususally plays 80 mins, and is top tackler or therabouts, compared to JJB, and other forwards who probably do more like 60mins.
