love golf was a member at tempy i got down to 11 handicap but don't play as much as i used in fact not much at all!!!

I have been a single figure player for over 30 years and I haven't mastered the game yet

My perception of the game and golf clubs themselves isn't very enticing.

In answer to the person who asked about how Handicaps were worked out - it is more complicated than explaining the Football offside rule!! Its all based around how many under par you are to your handicap, what the 'standard scratch' for the course is and what 'category you fall into with your current handicap!

Same here, my directors at work are golf mad and the bitching about club etiquette and social standing is unreal.

So if you just said "I'm s**t" would that not work?

It does give middle aged white men the opportunity to dress like pimps though so its not all bad.
