I thought Child did well today, only one thing went unnoticed which was a kick down Leeds' right into the corner of North & West and one of our players was held back. Apart from that there is nothing to complain about imho.

The ref was a kid making his debut today I understand (seen him run the line many times).

Taking this into account his performance eclipsed that of many of our veteran and international players.

I agree. It's very easy to blame the referee when the team plays poorly.

The ref was clearly the reason why we lost the Salford and Bradford games. How you can blame the players or the coach is beyond me.

He missed the tackles.

He threw the interception passes.

He showed nothing in attack.

His kicking game was crap.

All referees are anti Leeds.

Exactly. We got exactly what we deserved today and sadly it's been coming all season.
Nevertheless McLennan will still see something positive in our performance.
I thought the referee had a decent game, better than any of our players.
Not that that was hard to achieve.

weather perfect,ref giving a good 10 metres(to both sides)what did we do,one man rugby up the middle.very few times did we throw the ball out wide.salford did just that ,for me a well deserved win

I thought the ref did a good job tbh, much better than some of the other full time refs.

Maybe if the players spent more time concentrating on the game rather than waving their hands about try to get a penalty then we might do a bit better.

THe ref was not to blame for yesterdays shambles but he was p!ss poor.

When a player makes a 50 metre break then gets tackled, but the opposition player gives away a penalty for deliberately holding him down it is a certain yellow card. Everybody in the game knows that. Schoolboy error from Child there.

what happened in the first half when mcguire 'scored' and he pulled it back to give us the scrum?

from the other end it seemed it was either a mcguire knock on or the defender knocked it back and danny scored.
2 knock ons?

It was a complete brain fart from the young ref. Either a McGuire Knock on (in which case scrum to Reds) or reds knock back (in which case try).

I couldn't see too clearly whose hand it was but it went towards the salford sticks so either knock on by us or knock back by them. If knock back by them try.

How he got scrum feed to us is a mystery.
