Would agree, Kirke has played very well in both games so far, the main thing that stands out for me is how mobile with ball in hand he is for a big guy.
IMO Lee Smith deserved MOM again, fantastic try saving tackle. Top player n attack and defence.

Although I think our coach's p1s5ing about with the team did not help any of the props. Having our 4 props in the side at the same time at one point, with Bailey and JP in second row, was very bemusing. Can't have helped Bailey's play.'"
What game were you watching???
Did you not see the injuries and constant re-shuffling he was forced into??

| Has shed a few pounds over the winter, could be a lean mean fighting machine, however he isn't commited enough at any stage of the game. Don't know why we kept Bailey and let Scruton go, no comparison in term of go forward and energy.

| If anyone has a problem with Bailey, look at Buderus' performance. Both played their first game in a while and they both looked like it. Buderus wanted to make an impact, couple of sloppy balls, lovely weight of pass for Kirke's game-breaker. Bailey did what he does well, rattled some cages and gave away a needless penalty, thought his strides were keen and metre-some.
More to come from these two obviously and anyone who can't see that wants to get a grip.

It does help I think. The amount of ts on the terraces is at an all time high. They have their pre-determined presuppositions on players and don't budge. For example, JJB seems to give a silly penalty away every week and its not an issue, but when Bailey does it is and its blown out of proportion. A few heads banged together could help me thinks.

| but jjb also makes a big contribution each game. when was the last time bailey made the differance in a game? i have always supported him in the past but he is coasting. kirke is a limited player but he busts a gut in each game. when did bailey last have a good game?
we all have opinions but for me his time has gone. i would get shut at the end of the season if his attitude hasn't changed

Warrington at home last year bailey was awesome and hull fc at home the season before in the shocking rain! he was the stand out in both matches.
how good would bailey be if he played like that week in week out.

| My coments (and Bloodbath's) were specifically in relation to last night's game where I thought he had a good game.
It seems some people will criticise because its' Bailey, regardless of what he actually does on the pitch. That's compelling evidence of fekkwittism.
Take me for example, I have often criticised Smith and Kirke. I have no hesitation in saying how well they played last night because they did. That's compelling evidence of my superiority of most on the fekkwitts on here.
