I watched The Beiderbecke Affair the other night (well, some of it anyway) and there are plenty of places in Leeds to spot from the early 80s.

Moving forward a bit there was also the early (at least) Touch of Frosts and Fat Friends.

Ah Touch of Frost,where one episode he left Valley Parade drove down Burley Road (near viaduct going towards St Micheals rd) and ending up at the Shea in Halifax

Frost was also filmed in the Farnell building on Armley Road.

Fat Friends is/was filmed near my work in West Park & Horsforth.

My Mother has loads of old pictures of Bramley & Pudsey. To me it all looks kinda weird Gotta admit though Bramley Town St looked miles better without ''The Shopping Centre''

I used to do quote a bit of amatuer film making in my bedroom on Meanwood Road.

I watched a documentary about the Yorkshire Ripper a couple of months back and, as terrible as it was to hear about his awful crimes, I was much more interested in the footage of the Arndale Centre and the No.1 bus from the late 70's.

I thought you'd have told the story of that Belfast based stuff filmed round your way.

What, about how they had to tidy the place up so it looked more like trouble scarred Belfast in the 70's?
