If you're watching the Saints Vs Leeds game tonight, many of the chants that were levelled at the KC last week are being chanted by the Saints fans.

However in terms of massive over reaction, there won't be a mass riot with the thousands of Leeds fans there. Then again, they won't be subjected to a hail of missiles or have their coaches bricked in the car park by the home fans ....

To be honest, as three-time champions, to have some of that sung by the home speccies is actually secretly a bit of a nod to how good your team is ... I've been watching Leeds long enough to remember them pitying you instead.

And yet the fact remains, trouble last week... started by a Leeds fan lobbing a missle at a Hull FC player.

We, like many clubs, and I could cite Leeds, Warrington and Castleford who have all recently had similar problems have a few idiots, mostly chavs - its the usual town after 8pm crowd, nothing more dramatic than that.

Hull FC also have one, if not they best security and survillence operations of any RL ground, and do actively take action against trouble makers. In fact, I know a lad that was banned not so long ago. So, again I'm not sure what your point is with "how about your club" - sounds like the RFL are having an investigation into the incidents, which will hopefully track down all the trouble makers including the Leeds glass thrower - I would expect and indeed would be very surprised if Hull FC didn't take a very pro-active approach to that investigation.

The "slippery" slope is non-existant. Were talking about individuals, nothing like the more systematic problems we had during the 80s and early 90s, which saw organised voilence between fans, espeically FC and Rovers.
