| So what happened last night? I only ask as it’s my birthday soon and I took advantage of the missus driving last night and had a few sherbets.
In my inebriated state I seem to recall the entire Leeds team being replace with poor replicas and the referee seemed to be a semi trained chimp in day-glow.
Can anyone enlighten me?

Why would Katie Price come on a Rugby League forum.

| Quote Dave Heron's Moustache="Dave Heron's Moustache"The Ablett yellow card was rediculous and I was always under the impression that if you blatantly body-checked a defender - flatening him- it was a penalty, wether he would have gotten to the kicker or not.. but hey?'"
To save my time I'm going to try and ignore those posters too stupid to understand rugby league.
The Ablett incident deserved a sin-binning as it was a professional foul on the back of Sheriffe making a monkey out of several Leeds defenders. Sin binnings usual occur on the back of repeated infringements (not the case here) or a professional foul where the defence is in disarray. I'd have been absolutely amazed if what Ablett did hadn't resulted in a 10 minute rest.

Just listen to it on TV, the ref called held about four times before the ball was ripped. Whether he was actually held or not becomes irrelevant as Newton would happily let it be ripped after hearing the call, ie he wouldn't have let it get stolen otherwise.

I suggest buying a rule book. And then get someone to read it.

Did you have the same view when we did them @ MM the other year?

| Worst refereeing ever ?
Clearly this person has never seen ...
Stan Wall - Yes that wizend old man that carries the kit for the Scousers used to be a full paid up Leeds hater
Robin Whitfield - A man who used to revel in winding up the South Stand ... Anyone remember his contrived 46-all draw ?
Fred Lindop - Wakefield's answer to Darth Vader. The Lord Of The Sith's career came on leaps & bounds after taking Fred's self-improvement course.
John Holdsworth - Coming from Kippax (with a Leeds post code) meant that John avoided his 'home town team' (Cas). A referee who couldn't fail to hide his delight after effecitvely ending a player's career, nothing to worry about then, because the player concerned was in blue & amber.
Don't worry, there are plenty of contenders for that title !

| regarding the decision to disallow mcguires try at the end, people on here saying it went forward off of jjbs hand, the video ref cant disallow a try for a forward pass although he clearly did, you could argue it was a knock on but with the ball not touching the ground for me it shouldnt of been disallowed, when does a pass not become a pass? the rules on this need clearing up

| Ian Smith was near perfect last night. He refered anything suspect to the video ref and was proven correct. Best ref performance i've seen for years and should be applauded. The only bad decision he made was allowing the Leeds try that was forward. If you read the rules you'll see that every decision made was the correct one that you're calling wrong.
