official. personally i do not care who is the coach, i just want to side to be better next year, trying harder playing well and in the top 5-6 teams from the off, don't think the squad will be a challenging for another 2-3 seasons but as long as we are making progress and building back up then that is all that matters.

I wanted Furner and was happy with the appointment but it was obvious after 8 games he was awful and had to go. Agar may not be my or many peoples choice but the club sees something in him. At 47 he is still pretty young people say he was a failure at other clubs but he was much younger then and probably not ready. Hopefully he is ready now. People rave about Powell but he was failed coach and was a similar age when he went back to Cas via Fev. Agar might just be the right man in the right club at the right time. if not then its 12 months rolling so we can reassess then.

its going to be a long job, we need to get behind him not against him, next year should be better than this but it will still be tough for a couple more years, this will not be a quick turnaround to success we are building from the ground up again, hopefully pushing for play off spots next year at least.

I get that he can't really say that we're looking at this player or that position, but to say he's happy with the squad just rings of not wanting to upset anyone and that's what got us into this mess in the first place.

What he should have said was "clearly we've under performed as a whole this season and we will make necessary changes to make sure that this doesn't happen again next season." Then the door is still open for him to move people on, or push them to improve their performances next year.

This whole thing says to me we will be no further forward in 12 months time...

They need to be careful with the budget, but taking a cheap option will almost always mean that you have to take a more expensive one at a later date.

Just because he hasn't said that there will be wholesale changes does not mean that he will move in or out anyone from any position. It's a presser interveiw and a throw away comment to be take witha pinch of salt.

Certainly been an improvement on the feild in the way they have played, even if it hasn't translated into results. I could only see it getting worse under Furner
