I've yet to ever see a pass to Farrell that was backward. All his career they've either been flat or forward.

| Quote christopher="christopher"Well, Im actually quite positive because I saw improvements which is what I want to see, I don’t think we’ll get anything out of our first 4 games but =#FF0000aslong as we improve week on week ill be happy - ish.
I don’t usually bag the refs but I firmly believe he may have lost us that game, hi first half performance was amateur hour'"
Trouble is mate other teams will inevitably improve as well.

| Quote Juan Cornetto="Juan Cornetto"Perhaps Merrin is being played at prop because he is now too slow for the backrow'"
He might go a bit quicker if he lost a stone...
He diesn’t have marquee impact or marquee minutes at prop for me, and when he got number 11 I was hopeful they’d try to slim him back down a bit and get him to play.
Maybe when Crosby is fit, we lose Donaldson and go with a back row of Merrin, Ferres, Ward with Smith on the bench. Crosby, Peteru, Cuthbo, Oledzki looks OK for prop.
You’re right though, this Leeds side looks slow compared to some sides. I don’t know who we have who could go the full length any more - maybe Briscoe if he got free but nobody really has scary pace.

| I do like Hurrell. Almost anything could happen when he gets the ball, good or bad, but he’s certainly entertaining to watch. Loved his hit on Hardaker.

| Merrin hasn't been a second row for years. He's an all-round loose forward. It's Stevie Ward who should be in the 2nd row because he's never going to mske impact in the middle - I feared for him every time he was tackled. For Merrin to be at 13, we need another prop (whether Crosby or someone new).

Yep makes sense. You could spell Merrin with Cam Smith then.

| 2 very bad calls against you or it could have been much closer. As others have said Walker had a shocker and your stand off looked to be running in treacle. Once Watkins is back to match fitness he'll be as good a centre as any where in super league, on the other hand cut your losses on Parcell he's just dragging you down to bottom 4 level.

| I'd move Ward to right side back row just to tighten up the defence on that edge, we can't go the full season with Tui Sutcliffe and Watkins defending there, it's an easy target for the opposition at the moment.
On Parcel, he needs to run more, yes it's more difficult when the PTBs are slow, but that doesn't mean he can't be effective, but he does look very one dimensional when we're on the back foot, and if Dwyer had the engine, I'd play him for 80 minutes based on his form and his performances at the back end of 2018.

| Im going to be overly positive here but I do see some glimpses that we will be a good team this year, I think it will take us at least 6 games till we look anything like though, I said before the season we will have to be patient and I stand by that. I really like the look of Hurrell and I do think when match fit Tui will be good, If i recall he didn’t play a great deal last year a definitely not at 6, Merrin will be fine if he gets back to his proper position

| Young Callum needs time to play rugby league again. He shouldn't be rushed into 1st team cos he's not ready for it.
Lolohea and Myler are unfortunately our best options at this moment in time...I know.....hard to believe isn't it?
Too many dropped balls and missed tackles tonight, tho I thought the effort was there and we had more threat with the ball than last week at Wire.
Ferres and Peteru the big pluses for me tonight. Thought both went well. Ferres has never been able to train consistently while at Leeds but he seems healthier, looks a lot thinner and I was pleased to see him go well tonight. As we all know he has ability but we've not seen it at Leeds.
We have a lot of work ahead but too early to start panicking.
We're in rebuild mode folks and it's going to take a while. That's the reality.
I say it most weeks but we simply have to get our young kids thru over next few years. It's a priority.

Got to agree RE ferres, he’s rightly copped some stick but he looks fit and enthused and deserves his spot ATM
And yes we are in rebuild mode, we have to be patient, Next weeks game is going to be interesting, were up against a persevered lower table side so we should have a better chance of a win, bit kets see!
