of course it does. He will be out by July, but everything is stable.

| I usually take League Express, but apparently there is a piece in League Weekly. About Agar asking for assurances that he will be allowed to freshen up the squad before he accepts . WHAT ? Must read this ,if it's true it sounds like we've hrad hunted him

| Yes the article is adamant we're going to make a major double swoop. Who knows though..
I'd be surprised if Agar lasts more than one season as head coach

| Doesn't matter if its a month a year or reviewed every weekend it's a BS appointment that will see us needing ANOTHER new Coach half way through the Season IF he lasts that long.
It's all well and good saying the players like him that wont last when he becomes permanent coach and he drops 1 or 2 or we hit inevitable slump and RA has zero nous to get us out of it.
You either hire potential who have a good solid apprenticeship and genuine good ideas/approach to being a HC or you hire Quality you know can take us through this next phase of transition and implement our best u19's at the same time.
Its a YES man and looking after a mate appointment and it will fail.

| So YEP reporting one year rolling contract, which is right.
It may be as simple as the club recognising it’s in the mother of all squad rebuilds, and the focus needs to remain there for now. If you think about one or two more changes before we kick off next year, how many players from the McD side will remain in the starting XIII?
Practically, the side will be almost totally different.
I suspect Agar will go better than some think, with the resources at his hands at Leeds. I would be surprised if he’s still head coach for 2021 though.
If we are to really improve it has to be a whole-club effort. Many players need to look at themselves this pre-season and put the hard work in.

| Quote Gotcha="Gotcha"Hardly the stable appointment either that certain posters keep telling us on here. Appears to be no actual plan yet again.'"
I'm sure there will be a plan for developing the side over the next few years. In reality there are only a handful of coaches in world RL who could be the next "Tony Smith" input - it may just be that we can't snaffle any of them right now. It looked very much as if Powell was the main man in the sights at one point, but re-committed to Cas.
All options are risky - you guys may be convinced that Mr X or Mr Y will give us trophies again but it's more complex than that.
If Agar tanks next year he will be replaced just like Furner was, coaches know the crack. I still suspect he will have an exit ramp into a more administrative/back office function if it goes boobs in the top job anyway.
Almost more interesting/important to me at this stage is what we do with the support staff/assistants.

| Let's be fair, chances are that it's Sinfield calling the shots anyway so who the head coach is makes very little difference.

Only performances on the pitch next year will tell us whether or not that's a good thing. KS will be trying to deliver a modern administrative structure for the club - it's what he studied.

I very much doubt Sinfield has had a say in this regardless of what has been said. Seems a bit too coincidental to be Hetherington family that is the key appointment Sinfield has sought. Which begs the question, when it fails, should Sinfield also face the music.

| We dont expect to be contenders for quite a while yet ,but if we dont see significant progress next year yes the DOR will be held to account .By making progress I mean no danger of relegation
