| I'm actually becoming quite embarrassed for Myler - to the point where its hard to see how his last play options could actually be any worse for a professional player? Its painful to watch.

Yes of course but if were talking other factors our run of away games against top teams at the start will have affected our standing, I don’t think they will be above us st the end of the year

| Quote KaeruJim="KaeruJim"Interesting comments from Agar post-match.
Bagged our halves a bit (he’s been regularly critical of Myler). Threatened to change the team around a bit too.
It shouldn’t really take that to give players a rocket when the club is in this position.
Praised Lunt for adding some smarts and structure. For me I’d have Lunt starting the next game and bring Dwyer on from the bench.'"
I don't see Agar being 'brave' enough to drop Myler though.

| Picking such a lightweight bench was a bit daft. I get the idea but that sort of ploy doesn't often work, and in the modern game I think its a non starter.
It could have impacted the attitude as well because it suggests you're going to try to move the ball all game. It also requires the opposition to get drawn into the way you want the game to be played.

| Out played and out coached. Our management decision making is so bad it's going to send us down.
No elite coach is going to want to work in our current structure. If we do manage to scrape survival, we must get rid of our director of football, club legend or not.

| What impact do you think Sinfield has on selection and prep? That's surely down to Agar.

| Sinfield decided to keep Agar as interim for more than half a season?

| My two-penneth.
First up, well done to rovers and especially McGuire, there was no way he was coming off that field on the losing side.
Overall, disappointed, but not overly surprised, dumb rugby, dumb last options and too much standing off the opposition. We looked lethargic and unstructured, the dreaded return of the powderpuff grasping at air “defence” reared it’s ugly head and yet again cost us.

| The defence suggests that we've still got too many players who just aren't good enough in attitude as much as anything else. Two wins in a row and old habits kick in, in a game against a key relegation rival.
I don't think Agar's selection was good either - smacks of running the other team around without doing hard yards. That bench left no chance to change the gameplan.

I’ve been surprised Oledski’s been left out recently, one of our more consistent players this year. Maybe he’s carrying a knock.
Donaldson has been pretty good also to be fair.
For me, and I like to keep an open mind, but Myler has come up with a bunch of really poor plays tonight. Sutcliffe was quiet other than the try; missed important kicks early. Newman and Walker both strong runners but need to improve handling.
The bench might not have been optimal but we lost that through errors and some poor discipline yet again for me. Never gave the game plan a chance to work.
