We’ve looked very very soft in D of late. We are far too easy to score against. Need to fix that ASAP and for next year if we are to compete at the business end

In a team and a league for that matter packed full of very average (and that’s being kind) players, I found it odd that many seem to want to hound Hurrell out, or expecting him to play on greatly reduced terms.
He is one player worth watching, and gets you on edge of your seat......

I think this is why Id like Hurrell to stay, he’s entertaining, I get that he shouldn’t be on Marquee money but still.

He won’t be short of options though. Wigan fans were practically drooling at thought of signing him other week. If I were Konnie I’d be asking club for security now, or bye bye..

Nine games since June 27th has to be a major contributory factor. Players running on fumes. A full week till the next game will be a blessed relief.

I would gladly swap him for a top prop because that's where games are won first and we are still short in that department.
Personally i think we will resign him because he's a fans favorite with.The big fall guy i suspect will be Martin.
A top front line prop is a must.

I don’t think the club see prop as s priority atm to be honest

Well we`re using an OS spot on a back up half back.
Not having our first choice half backs for so many matches playing together doesn`t help.
Sutcliffe needs to stay out of the halves.
Briscoe isn`t good enough and has 4 or 5 average games a season and has done for the last 3 years.
Not having our first choice props didn`t help either and playing so many games in a short period of time has caught up with us.
Hurrell whilst a liability offers a threat and takes 4 players to stop him.
A decent acting half would exploit that sadly we don`t have one.

I don't think Austin will be a back up. I think he starts.
Be interesting to see who gets the 6 and 7 squad numbers next season.

I've just watched the highlights and I really don't know how you can say he was not to blame for that try - very poor positioning and bad missed tackle.
Very, very rose tinted glasses there mate.

Re Agar he will move upstairs once we’ve found a suitable coach. He’s hardly had a run with a decent and fit squad since he’s been with us.

I still don’t believe we’ve given Hurrell a decent crack. He’s not had a decent service consistently and we play him like the big lad in a schoolboy side.
